Blogging my College/Life Update!

Hello my Wonderful Readers!

So, I was just on the phone with my academic advisor because I wasn't seeing my next classes and I was getting a little nervous thinking that they didn't have something.  Panicking, basically, with a very chill outer wall of a face 😡.  Well, turns out everything was fine and it just so happened that they were going to call me this week anyway.  Introduction to Creative Writing and Critical Approaches to Literature which I am super excited about and I will tell you why!

Well, first and foremost, this means that I am in the nitty-gritty of my program!  This is something I have been waiting for much longer than most know and I dare to admit.  I have been wanting to pursue an English Degree of some sort since I was very young.  So over 20 years solidly and I am not even 30 yet.  Dreams don't die, people do!  Morbid but that was my motivation for getting my butt in gear on this degree and doing what I love, which is writing.  

Second reason why I am super excited for this is the thought of bouncing ideas around in a peer review atmosphere with those who are different from me but also love literature and want to improve their own skill set.  I have had really good fortune with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and I like my peers thus far.  

I haven't been too active in writing simply because of just concentrating on my classes, but also working on my full time work schedule along with still going to school full time.  I try to balance it all, but I have also been on a video game rampage with Final Fantasy VII (Remake) and Final Fantasy XII (Zodiac Age Release).  I usually get on the video game train for a while then it's back to writing and then it just bounces back and forth every couple of months when life is going normal.  Been that way since I was about 12 years old.  I will release more though!  I promise you that.  I did sign up for Vocal which is where I can publish works (opinion pieces and such) with getting paid for how many people read them with an option to tip me.  So when that is up, you bet I'll have that posted and show a link when I do new works and just to see old ones too!

I am excited for my new classes, learning never ends!  I am de-stressing with video games, but the writing bug hasn't completely gone away!  There are ideas every day 😄

Thank you for your awesomeness and I will post updates more frequently.  Maybe I'll do a video game one...
